What is Musikgarten?
Musikgarten is an internationally recognized early childhood music education curriculum. By offering multi-year programs, Musikgarten helps infants, toddlers, and children develop a deep love of music and the ability to express it. CDs, age-appropriate instruments, and parent guidebooks serve as home materials that reinforce the lessons and involve the whole family in the fun. Children who participate in early childhood music and movement courses show musical, physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
What can I expect in a Musikgarten class?
Parents often inquire about the types of activities that take place in a music and movement class. Motor, pre-language, and musical skills are developed simultaneously through singing, dancing, and playing instruments. The children actively participate in the music making, and repetition helps provide a structured and comfortable setting in order to do so.
Where can I take classes?
Oasis Music offers weekly classes for caregiver and child in Paradise Valley and Phoenix Arizona.
